"Each member of the East Gosford Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre is dedicated to providing you with the very best of care, with your individual circumstances fully considered.
We offer individual care in a supportive and comfortable environment. As a patient focussed practice, we will dedicate the time necessary to ensure that every aspect of your care is fully explained to you and you understand your objectives.
Our physiotherapists have a wealth of experience treating a diverse range of medical problems. Russell, Louise and Sarah also have areas of professional interest and individual expertise that can be drawn upon to provide reassurance and assistance in the management of your care.
Russell Tuckerman - Principal physiotherapist
Completed degree in Physiotherapy at Sydney University in 1987- Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
- Practising for over 20 years, last 15 years in East Gosford.
- Professional interest areas:
- Back, pelvis and hip problems
- Golf injuries
- Postural assessment and core muscle strengthening
- Married with 2 boys and lives locally.
Louise Smith - Physiotherapist
Studied at Sydney University – completed degree in 1992.- Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
- Has been working at the practice for 6 years.
- Professional interest areas:
- Neck and shoulder problems
- Muscle problems and trained in a technique called Dry Needling
- Core muscle strengthening
- A local resident with a son attending a local school.
- A keen hockey player for a local team.
Sarah Bailey - Physiotherapist
Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.- Studied at University of Otago - completed her degree in physiotherapy in 2003.
- Our newest team addition to the practice.
- Professional interest areas:
- Sports injuries
- Neck and back problems and rehabilitation
- Lives on the Central Coast after extensive overseas travelling and working overseas.
A programme specifically designed for adolescent rugby forwards to perform regularly at training or home to improve strength and safety around their spine.
